Social Media Specialist

Netsmart is looking for a Social Media Specialist. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Track, monitor and respond to social media conversations to enhance client experience.
  • Provide insights to marketing and corporate communications department, along with key organizational stakeholders.
  • Manage social media conversations both (proactive and reactive) in a timely manner to users’ needs and requests.
  • Develop content and messages about all aspects of Netsmart which could include (links, videos, graphics and images) that can be shared across multiple internal and external platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate social media into key organizational initiatives and events.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communications across business groups, participate in cross-functional groups throughout the organization to support their social media and communications objectives.
  • Establish consistency of messages across multiple online venues that are relevant to organizational goals.
  • Support and protect brand by ensuring positive messaging is maintained across all channels and platforms.
  • Create analytics reporting structure for executive leadership on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, online journalism, web production or related discipline is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven working experience in social media.
  • Extensive experience in working with brands in the social media universe including (YouTube, Twitte, Instagram, blogs and Facebook).
  • Proficient experience with social media tools such as (Spredfast, Sysomos and Dynamic Signal).
  • Adequate knowledge of (Photoshop editing, video editing, SEM and SEO).
  • Strong working skills of using MS (Excel).
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines successfully.
  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
