Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate social media activities for corporate-wide programs and campaigns, including product announcements, corporate and partner events, press releases, mentions and global campaigns.
- Direct a master social media calendar for all OpenText social media handles.
- Build engaging content for nurtured channels around new blogs, media coverage, campaigns, customer stories executive and thought leadership.
- Design, editing and reviewing social content submitted from across the organization including bulk upload files and scheduled content within OpenText’s preferred social media management platform.
- Support employee advocates through monthly emails & refresher courses and conduct surveys for feedback around platform and success stories.
- Follow, measure, analyze and report results of all programs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- At least 3 years of social media experience.
- Effective experience in a high-tech B2B environment or agency.
- Proven understanding of social media management, listening, monitoring and advocacy platforms.
- Deep knowledge of all major social platforms and social media best practices (ex. LinkedIn and Twitter).
- Strong organizational and project management skills required.
- Solid social writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to envision, articulate and realize both process and program improvements across the social media landscape.
