Job Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of the Software department, representing the face of high-quality design and development practices.
- Improve high performing and innovative applications.
- Cooperate with system engineers, front-end developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions.
- Utilize principles of software development and methodologies like Agile Continuous Integration, Software and Product Security, documentation practices, refactoring and testing techniques (BDD/TDD).
- Draft codes that meet standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
- Understood performance parameters and assess application performance.
- Operate on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using the language of choice.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent.
- Effective experience developing applications for control and monitoring of instrument hardware.
- Proficient experience in developing windows and or web- applications (C, C++, C# .NET, Java).
- Deep knowledge of front-end technologies such as WPF, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, etc.
- Proven understanding of modern tooling (MS TFS/VSTS, Perforce and/or Git).
- Wide awareness about competitors and industry.
- High ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
- Great ability to make basic technology choices based on experience.
- Ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.
