We have seen recent updates from Facebook just like the ability to send marketing emails via Pages App easily. However, it didn’t stop for Facebook at this stage, it also added a new option to switch between personal and business accounts in Messenger.
All of this is to make it easier for Page managers to respond to messages by just adding a new and easy switch that will enable them to switch between personal and business Messenger accounts.
The screenshot below shows that when you tap and hold your profile picture in Messenger, it will be possible for you to easily switch to your business inbox instead.
In light of that aspect, Facebook says “According to our research, over 90% of Facebook business admins already use Messenger to chat with friends and family, and we hear from many that they don’t want to download and manage multiple apps.”
Moreover, it is allowed, of course, to manage your business messages within Facebook’s Page Manager along with Creator Studio applications, anyhow, accessing and managing your business messages directly from your regular Messenger app, will be so much easier to stay on top of the latest queries.
In light of switching between personal and business accounts, Facebook notes “The new business inbox in Messenger will make it easy and convenient for businesses to respond quickly. Businesses can also choose to receive notifications in the Messenger app to remind them to get back to customers in a timely manner.”
This new option from Messenger – switching between Personal and business accounts- is really effective and also because of the messaging activity which still increases amid the COVID-19 outbreak, besides Facebook looking forward to providing more eCommerce tools and also helping more businesses cater to increasing demand for online options.
However, with Facebook still working on the messaging integration plan, this new option will possibly, at some stage, allow you to be on top of queries from Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram via the same process.
The new feature, switching between personal and business accounts – the new business inbox- is being launched in the Messenger application on iOS, and for Android users, it will be coming out in the next few weeks.
