Twitter Responds to the Issue of Shared Tweets Via WhatsApp

It is hard not to follow up with the current events in the US, there are protests everywhere about #BlackLivesMatter. And of course, social media is a source of spreading the message of what people are experiencing and sharing information.

However, with the rush of activity about related hashtags, of course, besides spammers and scammers who try to hijack the discussion streams, social media platforms will unavoidably encounter some difficulties trying to keep everything running simply and smoothly,

Amid the ongoing events, and today, Twitter is working to resolve an issue with its API that has seen links shared within WhatsApp not rendering correctly within WhatsApp chats.

WhatsApp is considered to be the key channel to share messaging among protest groups, as well as tweets via WhatsApp,  as noted by Twitter, they are working to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

Not also this but Twitter has seen some “Technical Difficulties” with its Trend Listings, as well as removing several profiles on the social media platform which portrayed themselves as ANTIFA groups, to provoke further tension among protesters.

Twitter was not the only social media platform that faced technical difficulties, Instagram, too, with the huge and wide use of the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag triggering its anti-spam filters.

Additionally, TikTok has had to work to accommodate the sudden rise in related posts.

So the bottom line is, if you are still having a problem sharing tweet links via WhatsApp, this problem should e resolved shortly as Twitter keeps on working in order to keep its systems operational amid the rising demand.
