The Total Mobile Subscribers in Oman Reached Over 6.7 M in Q3 2016 | TRA
The total mobile subscribers in Oman has increased in Q3 2016 to reach over 6.7 million subscribers, compared to the number of subscribers in Q2 2016, while the penetration is equaled (151%) in both quarters.
Established in 2002, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) is the implementing authority of the Sultanate of Oman’s telecommunications policies. TRA liberalizes and promotes the telecommunications services in the Sultanate; established under the Telecommunications Act which was issued under the Royal Decree No. 30/2002.
