Job Responsibilities:
- Review and re-package current content to create new products and reports.
- Write, edit and proofread new content for websites.
- Identify gaps and opportunities within current offerings and be involved in the production of new products in these areas.
- Ensure web content is up-to-date and SEO-optimized.
- Keep the brand message consistent throughout collateral.
- Be strategic as well as pragmatic in crafting effective content to support delivery of Portner’s editorial and overall business strategies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated B2C and B2B experience is highly regarded.
- Extensive knowledge of building and/or keeping the brand ‘voice’.
- Proficient experience in producing engaging, practical and usable content that motivates customers to pay for it.
- Sound understanding of SEO best practices and social media management.
- Advanced working skills of using (Google Keyword Planner and Google Trends).
- Deep working knowledge of (MS Office and Google Docs).
- Basic understanding of using (Photoshop) for content editing.
- Excellent knowledge of the competitive marketplace in which PortnerPress operates is an advantage.
- Strong skills in (WordPress and social media management tools) are well-regarded.
- Ability to stay organized under conditions of multiple tasks and tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
