Job Responsibilities:

• Operate closely with the senior designer to conceptualize and execute design solutions for the business and its external stakeholders.
• Track through with vendors to ensure final product and applications are executed to the highest standard.
• Plan and implement required web content for the awpl website.
• Design content regularly to reflect the latest news, developments and new product lines across awpl’s social media platforms.
• Improve and design layout and content for any communications required for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Aid with presentation requirements for commercial tender or new business development by means of providing creative design, layout and content suggestions.
• Produce recommendations on new store concepts and signage as required by the merchandise or retail operations team.
• Perform with facility and project management to source relevant and required material for new concept implementation.

Job Requirements:

• Degree qualifications or similar.
• Effective experience in a contemporary design environment involving conceptual development and point-of-sale ideally within a retail background.
• Proficient experience in MAC operations, Adobe CC suite, in particular, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and MS office programs.
• Expert knowledge and experience in using WordPress for web-based content.
• Proven track record in working with a variety of stakeholders and taking direction with a high level of attention to detail.
