Job Responsibilities:
- Search, validate and implement SEM copy strategies in partnership with our data science and editorial teams.
- Support our relationship with our Google account manager to gain insights into new products and opportunities.
- Produce best practice insights and recommendations to assist our overall SEO strategy.
- Provide and communicate research into competitors and their DM strategy.
- Apply audit actions from tools such as Moz and SEMrush.
- Determine focus areas for on-site improvements such as site structure, internal linking, and content.
- Aid in the successful rollout of the Rome2rio affiliate program.
- Cooperate with several teams to implement a post-sale email communication strategy for our newly launched tickets product.
- Teach our content marketing and editorial team in producing materials for email campaigns, social media and content marketing.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a consumer focussed digital marketing role.
- Effective experience in two of the following areas; SEM, SEO and email marketing.
- Novice experience with affiliate programs, social media and content marketing is desirable.
- Deep knowledge of administering an affiliate network platform such as HasOffers.
- Proven track record in Google AdWords.
- Proficient working experience with MailChimp.
- Familiarity with ads management for social networks is desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding with Google Analytics.
- Ability and enthusiasm to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, while still maintaining the capacity for self-direction with little supervision.
