Job Responsibilities:

• Liaising with internal teams to ensure strong and prompt delivery of SEO strategic plans.
• Developing a system to experiment with SEO changes and track performance and effectiveness.
• Staying one step ahead and researching updates from all the major search engines.
• Monitoring and tracking the position of keyword rankings in SERP’s and reacting to them in order to maintain our market-leading positioning.
• Creating content for our news and social media pages to engage and inform our audience.
• Pursuing and developing our link building strategies and managing an online SEO budget.
• Collaborating with the web publishing team to develop and optimize content to increase exposure to SERP’s.
• Coordinating with third-party agencies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, test-driven field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an SEO focused role preferably in a publishing environment.
• Effective technical knowledge including performing (on-page technical audits and troubleshooting canonicalization, URL structures, site architecture, sitemaps, robots.txt and redirects).
• Deep working knowledge of (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) development and constraints.
• Advanced understanding of the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
• Proficient experience with relevant SEO tools required to execute a strategy using (aHrefs, SEMRush, AWRCloud and Screaming Frog).
• Expert knowledge of using (Google Analytics and Search Console).
• Professional understanding of the relationship between (paid search and SEO).
• Strong MS Office working skills.
• Solid presenting and communications skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
