Job Responsibilities:
- Operate with project managers and stakeholders to identify and understand business requests, requirements, and deliverables.
- Construct a user experience strategy that addresses the project’s business objectives, key performance indicators, and target audiences.
- Improve a full spectrum of innovative design solutions that can both satisfy the business goals of the stakeholder and addresses the needs of the target user.
- Map out user flows, diagrams and models to facilitate discussions around complex topics.
- Push the boundaries of the current interaction models to create a better user experience and more engaging storytelling experience.
- Design pixel-perfect wireframes, screen layouts, navigation systems, and user interface elements within a strict set of brand guidelines. Consider all screen sizes and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Create UX documentation and prototypes to assist in pushing concepts forward and through the approval process.
- Produce your work to internal team members, creative directors, and stakeholders.
- Be able to defend your opinions during reviews but know how and when to receive feedback and constructive criticism.
- Cooperate with interdisciplinary project teams of designers, art directors, and copywriters.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years Interactive UX experience.
- Effective experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
- Solid up-to-date body of work and online portfolio (this is a must-have) that is impressive immediately. Portfolio/work samples must demonstrate experience in creating great user-centered design solutions.
- Sound interpersonal and client relation skills and an ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Proficient experience working with large brands, large marketing initiatives, or e-commerce.
- Proven experience designing components for CMS (content management systems)
- Seasoned time management skills and ability to communicate the time and resources necessary to produce excellent work.
- An extraordinary eye for aesthetics and a portfolio with clean, simple, and modern design.
- Proven success in concepting, wireframing, information architecture, user flows, and usability testing.
- Great writing and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Keynote, rapid prototyping tools, and user testing tools.
- US Work Permit required.
- Ability to work onsite at the client site in South Bay (Shuttle provided).
