Job Responsibilities:

• Improve and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Examine all code for quality assurance purposes.
• Cooperate effectively with internal cross-functional team members (creative, strategy, production, account management) during the scoping and creative stages to deliver custom solutions.
• Build and guide website architecture.
• Analyze and provide constructive feedback on requirements documentation, wireframes and designs.
• Create and implement new features and functionality for existing projects.
• Assure high-performance and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Operate with Yoke’s design team to create an effective, responsive design and turn it into a working theme.
• Participate and advance development team capabilities, share ideas and processes and help develop best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years development experience.
• Proven track record in e-commerce especially WooCommerce.
• Deep understanding of front-end technologies including (HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, Bootstrap 3/4, JavaScript and jQuery).
• Effective experience in building mobile first and responsive user interfaces for websites and web applications.
• Proficient experience in PHP back-end development particularly (WordPress).
• Outstanding knowledge of development and customization of WP themes and plugins.
• Demonstrated experience in management and deployment tools (JIRA, Trello, SVN, GIT, Bitbucket) and working in an agile development environment.
• Solid experience with other frameworks and content management systems.
• Strong knowledge of design tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision and Sketch.
• An active interest in UX and design trends.
