What a great move from TikTok to launch the new TikTok for Business website, it is possible now for marketers to access the website and discover a wide range of tools and resources to help them utilize the short-form video app for their advertising campaigns.
In light of that matter, TikTok explained “With the launch of TikTok For Business, we set out to embrace the creative, positive, and real moments that make our community so special with solutions for businesses to connect and grow with our wonderfully expressive community.”
The New TikTok for Business platform includes notes, links, and tips to other TikTok tools, like its self-serve ad platform -it is not available in all regions- and its Creator Marketplace.
In addition, the new business platform gives marketers great access to a wide range of links for case studies to help businesses understand how they can make the best use of the platform -TikTok- for their promotions.
Even though the available resources are really interesting and helpful but the platform seems somehow limited. TikTok hasn’t announced yet any great expansion of the ad tools, or even opening up of its ad platform, despite the new TikTok for Business website promoting the different ways in which TikTok can be used for marketing.
As obvious the main focus of the platform is TikTok’s ad slogan which is “Don’t Make Ads, Make TikToks”. Actually, This seems like prompting businesses to focus on aligning with TikTok usage, also it is good information, as opposed to interruptive ads.
However, TikTok has announced the launch of its new AR Brand Effects and Partner Program. TikTok says ” “A new innovative format of TikTok’s Branded Effect, which can activate exciting visual effects such as a Brand logo or Brand product in user’s videos. As a part of this launch, we’re excited to partner with leaders in 2D & 3D development in an effort to scale creativity and production of AR effects for brands on TikTok. Those partners include Bare Tree Media, Subversive, Tommy, and more.”
Additionally, TikTok is also working on a new Business Data Hub, which will provide more insights for marketers. However, the details about this new business platform launch are not much to be told.
On the other hand, it could be a trusted and valuable resource to connect marketers to a wide range of helpful tools and insights in order to help them maximize their efforts on TikTok. Also, TikTok continues to see more usage, and this means many businesses will need to consider their options.
