The vast majority of US back to school – B2S – shoppers (95%) prefer to start their school shopping early before the school begins. 47% of those shoppers start before 3 to 4 weeks of the school, while 27% starts before 2 months in 2017.
Only 2% of B2S shoppers in the US prefer to start their school shopping in the last week before the school starts, compared to 3% who prefers to start after the school begins.
