While some companies include any marketing and even sales-related expenses, others would categorize some of those expenses separately as a part of their total budget.

67% of surveyed marketers in North America & Europe mentioned that their organizations are planning to increase their digital marketing spending in 2018, while 28% of digital marketers in North America & Asia Pacific reported that their organizations are planning to keep their digital marketing spending in 2018 the same. Then comes at next only 6% of digital marketers in North America & Europe indicated that their organizations are planning to decrease their digital marketing spending in 2018.
