Assistant Marketing Manager

ALDO Group is looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager in Montréal, Canada. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and creation of seasonal marketing plans and brand calendars per market.
  • Head the execution of in-store marketing tactics cross-functionally (buying, planning, allocation, visual, merchandising, and sales and operations).
  • Support consistent communication and collaboration with the e-commerce team on all market-specific brand activations and promotions to ensure a clear on experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams (Brand, Content, Media, PR, Social, CRM) on strategic 360 market executions with a localization focus.
  • Keep a solid line of communication and collaborate with other territory specific marketing teams on project-based work.
  • Manage the integrated execution of global Go-To-market strategy and calendar.
  • Maintain all store marketing signage requirements (internal artwork briefing and approvals, distribution lists, and externally with the print agency to ensure on-time delivery and roll-out).
  • Direct the marketing communications to stores in collaboration with global communication team.
  • Determine, analyze and report on the performance of all brand activations and promotions with clear learnings and clear action items.
  • Supervise the competitive landscape to develop insights and propose new opportunities.
  • Improve test, measure, learn plans to drive new opportunities for the brand.
  • Drive the management and execution of experiential activations in conjunction with our agencies.
  • Control the marketing budget tracker, invoicing and all related administrative requirements.
  • Supervise the creation of the monthly market specific store style guide.
  • Oversee all in-store related marketing operational tasks.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is requierd.
  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience working in the same role.
  • Effective knowledge in fashion retail and interest in fashion.
  • Flexibility with time and working some early mornings and late evenings to facilitate time zones reality.
  • Deep experience managing vendors and agencies.
  • Solid organizational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), InDesign and reporting skills (XBR, Cognos and Tableau).
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English and French.
  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a highly dynamic environment and under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders in Montreal and in Europe.
  • Strong working skills with the project a professional image and demeanor through all levels of interaction.
