Job Responsibilities:

• Draft posts for Loco2’s blog and discover and help sections.
• Operate closely with our train geeks to ensure the accuracy of information.
• Create upon our content style guide to meet changing SEO requirements, implementing recommendations from SEO agencies.
• Recognize and reach out to travel influencers to seek new opportunities for collaboration, marketing and affiliation.
• Design promotional and product-related emails.
• Plan campaigns on MailChimp and running A/B tests to improve open rate and conversion rate.
• Set up ad copy for promoted posts on Facebook, Instagram and other paid channels.
• Provide new ideas to promote Loco2 across our owned channels and inspire travelers.

Job Requirements:

• Effective experience in MailChimp or another equivalent newsletter platform.
• Expert knowledge of using data insights to judge the success of your campaigns.
• Proven track record in HTML for editing blog posts and more.
• Proficient experience in writing for SEO, including keyword research and insertion.
• Deep understand of social media trends and are personally engaged with your own strong social presence.
• Interest in traveling overland, particularly by train.
