Job Responsibilities:

• Analysis and commission new online content, market research, contract negotiation, business proposals and financial validation and revalidation.
• Conduct the day-to-day project management of the content, organizing, tracking and monitoring all stages of editorial work from research and commissioning stages through to handover for production.
• Manage new material supplied by external contributors and editors, revising, updating, and checking as necessary.
• Support regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with authors, editors and contributors and with internal colleagues.
• Perform regular research into the pharmacy market to inform product development including surveys and focus groups and sharing those findings with PhP colleagues.
• Centrally organize the administration for the product development team and projects.
• Present the academic and hospital visits, courses, meetings, conferences and exhibitions both nationally and internationally to represent pharmaceutical press as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated IT knowledge using standard computing software and the Internet.
• Effective editorial experience in academic scientific publishing preferably in a journals environment.
• Proficient experience in commissioning and list management.
• Deep knowledge of using Excel and Word.
• Sound writing in English.
• Strong project management, organizational and administrative skills.
• Solid communication skills.
• Efficient research and information gathering skills with the ability to assimilate and disseminate complex information.
