Digital Content Coordinator

Read Foundation is looking for a Digital Content Coordinator. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive content marketing plan, driving strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
  • Create and distribute engaging written content to be used online (website, email, blog, social media and SMS).
  • Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal donor online reviews.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company.
  • Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Ensure brand consistency in content marketing by working with various internal stakeholders.
  • Grow and expand our social media presence into new social media platforms increasing the reaches on existing platforms including (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram).
  • Create social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation and implementation schedules.
  • Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts.
  • Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation.
  • Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
  • Compile reports for management showing results against key metrics.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a digital content or social media coordinator.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.
  • Proficient experience in content marketing theory and application.
  • Advanced knowledge of sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • Deep understanding of publishing, monitoring and reporting knowledge of (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and LinkedIn).
  • Expert working knowledge of SEO principles including keyword research and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent working skills of using (MS Office and Google Docs).
  • Strong organizational, planning and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multi-tasks to meet deadlines successfully.
