Job Responsibilities:

• Design engaging content for the UKCBC website and its digital channels.
• Create and write content for the UKCBC weekly newsletter.
• Assure that all content is legal, accurate and compliant with brand guidelines.
• Direct the distribution of content to email subscribers and social media profiles to maximize engagement.
• Secure content meets accessibility and SEO requirements.
• Improve and re-write text submitted by other members of staff.
• Maintain the digital marketing team in creating content for print and digital marketing campaigns.
• Provide a high standard of content to engage with UKCBC’s target audience and build on the brand message.
• Stay up with news in the education sector.

Job Requirements:

• Proven track record in digital marketing and journalism (Essential).
• Demonstrated experience in the education industry.
• Effective experience in writing content for SEO and with HTML tags (Essential).
• Proficient working experience with social media and email campaigns.
• Sound proofreading skills (Essential).
• Solid writing and creative content skills (Essential).
• Strong verbal communication skills (Essential).
• Outstanding creative and innovative idea generation for wider marketing campaigns.
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
