Digital Content Editor

ITE Group plc is looking for a Digital Content Editor in London, United Kingdom. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize market research and insights to input to the creation of personas, with positioning and messaging statements for each.
  • Accountable for the brand tone of voice and editorial guidelines.
  • Provide editorial content for the BVE blog, informed by insights provided by our agencies, web and content teams, as well as our strategic partners.
  • Write copy for our owned channels, including the website, blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo and LinkedIn.
  • Control agency resource to produce content in line with content and editorial calendar.
  • Cooperate with the digital team to ideate, brief and produce video content and social assets to support marketing campaigns including editing of video, moving and still image formats.
  • Collaborate with our digital team to understand the performance of content and use insights to continuously optimize and inform production plans.
  • Analysis and recommend relevant strategic partners (including associations, professional bodies and media).
  • Operate with campaigns teams and marketing manager on creating campaign and activity schedules, and meeting required timelines, milestones and budgets.
  • Assure strong communication with delivery teams at all time, including attending weekly meetings as required to review activity, spend and results, and agree with plans to optimize or remediate where needed.
  • Produce aggregated reporting of marketing channel performance vs. target, taking ownership of marketing channel performance weekly reporting.
  • Perform with the web manager on updating and managing the BVE website with the goal to maintain brand consistency, enhance user experience and increase inbound lead generation.
  • Act with the automation team in planning, executing and monitoring email marketing campaigns.
  • Present a key role and execute the company’s PR strategy including development of press releases, media relations, industry awards, etc coordinating activities and managing agencies to get the most out of our PR efforts.
  • Give general admin support as and when required to the team.
  • Create and manage a content calendar based on digital strategies, objectives and requirements planned in collaboration with the BVE team.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective experience of working within one of BVE key market sectors (broadcast, production, post-production, IT or media) desirable.
  • Solid video editing skills and experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Deep knowledge of writing and editing for the web, with experience and knowledge of best practices for search engine optimization.
  • Sound analytics experience is a nice-to-have.
  • Customer-oriented, taking pride in exceeding customer expectations.
  • Proactive and target driven.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven relationship building skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Special standard copywriting proficiency
