Digital Content Producer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage the production of digital content designed to engage our target audiences across all digital channels, including long-form editorial, short-form social and video formats.
  • Author copy for our owned channels, including the website, blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Bring the Spring/Autumn Fair brand story to life with a well-planned and executed series of content assets that captures and holds the attention of our customers.
  • Cooperate with the digital team to deliver a multi-channel campaign within a deadline, and to budget, which maximizes our audience reach and engagement.
  • Operate with key external suppliers and internal teams: PR, digital and creative teams to ensure our content is effectively optimized across all channels to produce the best results with the most effective spend.
  • Prioritize social sharing in the content development process to maximize the impact of earned media on brand awareness and favourability.
  • Support the marketing cost tracker for each event, by raising POs and communicating these to suppliers, continually monitoring spend, negotiating costs with suppliers and acting as the first port of call for the internal finance team for budget queries.
  • Manage with sales team and Head of Marketing to ensure content development supports exhibitor acquisition & retention plans, including key customer plans.
  • Plan and execute each event’s partnership plan (including associations, professional bodies, media partners and influencers), acquire and manage the relationship with strategic partners, including media partners and key customers.
  • Assure strong communication with delivery teams at all times, including weekly meetings to review activity, spend and results, and agree with plans to optimize or remediate where needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in business or marketing desirable.
  • Minimum 1- year experience of digital or content marketing desirable (but must have the desire to develop a career within marketing).
  • Outstanding skills in writing and editing for the web, with experience and knowledge of best practices for search engine optimization.
  • Effective Google Analytics experience is a nice-to-have.
  • Proficient experience in working within the events or retail industry desirable.
  • Strongly results-focused.

  • Sound relationship building skills.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Proactive and target driven.
  • Able to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple stakeholders (account management or internal stakeholders).
