Job Responsibilities:
- Operate closely with our head of strategy to develop a content strategy that employs best practices across a variety of platforms.
- Survey, analyze and summarize digital data for a range of clients then provide recommendations and lead execution.
- Design strategic foresight plans that leverage excellent content on the right platforms to reach target audiences.
- Utilize data to inform decisions and make recommendations.
- Draft the clean, concise, emphatic copy for a variety of purposes.
- Cooperate with other team members to plan and execute digital media projects, including web content, email marketing and online advertising.
- Guide our clients on best practices.
- Cooperate with account managers to meet deadlines and exceed expectations for all clients.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, advertising or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a digital marketing specialist with agency experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing strategy, SEO, online advertising and analytics.
- Expert working knowledge of HTML and CSS and a range of digital marketing tools.
- Effective understanding of federal and provincial marketing regulations.
- Proficient experience in various workflow and project management tools and best practices.
- Proven experience working with a range of content management systems and analytics tools.
- Independent, self-motivated, competitive and assertive.
- Solid analytical skills, critical thinking, flexibility and creativity.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
