Job Responsibilities:
- Improve and implement the digital marketing strategy for the NFB’s educational offer and its products.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of NFB Education’s social networks in the digital space and ensuring it maintains its social capital.
- Direct the programming of the various marketing campaigns on NFB Education (and its related platforms).
- Cooperate with members of the NFB education and marketing teams, setting up and ensuring daily monitoring of the editorial line on all NFB Education web platforms, and ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets and deliverables related to educational campaigns and projects.
- Utilize marketing strategy tactics as defined by the marketing sector and other members of the education team (Sales, Marketing, Programs) to the launch of new educational productions and products.
- Work as a moderator on social networks, social platforms and the NFB Education website.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital media, education or any other relevant field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, community management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep knowledge of tools and apps used in managing communities such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, and YouTube, and communications tools related to the social web.
- Expert knowledge of tools used to crop or create images, such as Photoshop, Paint and online tools such as Fotor.
- Proven experience in the education field (asset).
- Solid oral and written proficiency in both English and French.
- Sound analysis skills, artistic sense, discretion, autonomy, versatility and initiative.
- Creative thinking, curiosity and openness to change.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize according to requests.
- The ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with staff, colleagues and freelancers.
- The ability to assess the graphics and written elements in the promotional material, manage budgets and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and willingness to keep your knowledge of new technologies and marketing up to date.
