Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the team in executing the launch of the organization’s e-commerce initiatives, specifically a new user/mobile friendly website while implementing initiatives that facilitate online purchase transactions.
- Collaborate closely with the general managers and VPs to develop new and powerful ideas that build relevance and motivation for our brand in the digital space.
- Track and analyze consumer, product and industry trends, along with competitive landscape as a means of fully understanding all factors influencing the online business.
- Develop and evaluate current brand and business unit marketing plans.
- Lead, manage, mentor and train the marketing team.
- Integrate digital marketing best practices, promotional marketing and CRM to ensure a consistent experience and highly effective online/offline campaigns.
- Project manages all resources including SEO/SEM, email database marketing, social media, display advertising, website design and maintenance, pay-per-click and traditional campaigns.
- Continuously research and identify trends that optimize spend and performance.
- Create, develop and analyze reports and data to assess campaigns against goals in order to make an investment and strategic decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing large marketing budgets.
- Previous experience in launching and maintaining a successful e-commerce site, automotive experience an asset.
- At least 6 years of marketing and project management experience with a strong background in digital marketing.
- Proficient experience in leading and managing (SEO/SEM, marketing database, email and social media campaigns).
- Extensive knowledge of executing and optimizing PPC advertising (Google AdWords and Google Display Network).
- Advanced understanding of website analytics, Google Analytics and other reporting statistics.
- Deep experience in managing and supervising a team of marketing professionals.
- Basic experience with (HTML, CSS and WordPress) considered as an asset.
- Effective strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
