Job Responsibilities:

• Create new and update existing HTML code for emails to be used in large-scale email marketing campaigns.
• Troubleshoot and adjust any problematic code from other marketing vendors and provide constructive feedback.
• Execute and adhere to quality control procedures and work back schedules for all email campaigns.
• Manage lead times with the marketing and other key stakeholders to ensure receipt of all design and data points in a timely fashion.
• Use graphics software to make any necessary, last minute changes to the art files.
• Assist with reporting and various data pulls.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to develop automated and ad-hoc email templates and designs.
• Make improvements to our batch and triggered email campaigns based on test results and key learnings.
• Configure dynamic content elements to create personalized emails at scale using RPL.
• Perform initial quality assurance on emails to ensure the logic is functional and that they render correctly on various client/browser combinations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with email service provider representative and various internal stakeholders if problems arise with tracking, implementation or deployment of email campaigns.
• Keep up with the latest email marketing and design trends and relay this information to various departments, as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the same role.
• Extensive experience in coding emails including knowledge of responsive design for mobile.
• Proficient knowledge of creating and editing emails for delivery with a product such as (Responsys, Eloqua and Movable Ink).
• Expert understanding of working directly with HTML email templates using a text-based tool such as (Notepad ++ or Adobe Dreamweaver).
• Basic working knowledge of using (Photoshop).
• Thorough understanding of how to communicate effectively across one to one marketing channels.
• Enthusiastic team player who has an exceptionally keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple strands of work with a willingness to take on additional projects as needed.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze results to help make informed decisions and program enhancements over time.
