Job Responsibilities:

• Head and participate in requirements gathering and analysis.
• Cooperate with internal and external planning, operations and support teams for project implementation.
• Build different network elements, Switches, Routers, Firewalls and IPSs.
• Provide and maintain detailed technical documentation (architecture, operations procedures, and specifications).
• Produce technical consultation to both internal and external teams.
• Control the network requirements to meet the business demands of our customers.
• Support a central database of both public and private IP address space used in customer network infrastructure.
• Present the network infrastructure capacity and performance reporting and planning.
• Control standards for a data center infrastructure and operational effectiveness and ensure availability of networks in production, development, lab and disaster recovery environments across multiple datacentres.
• Accountable for leading third line support for incident and request management.
• Operational maintenance for LAN/WAN related network incidents (investigation of element and link failures, network routing, performance and security).
• Follow appropriate information and complete ticket, outage and postmortem records as necessary.
• Perform periodic routine maintenance and daily tasks, tracking results and resolving problems as appropriate.
• Supervise network indicators and initiate further testing and corrective action as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of Fortinet products, FortiGate, FortiManager and Fortianalyzer.
• Expert understanding of Linux server system administration (including Active Directory) and networking concepts and technologies such as (routers, firewalls, VPN, etc.).
• Effective experience with servers (physical and virtual design) as well as different operating systems (Windows and Linux).
• Proficient experience in enterprise data center infrastructure.
• Proven track record in technical architecture design (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, protocol flows) and hands-on experience with middleware server components (e.g., HP).
• Strong understanding of the implementation and support of high availability environments.
• Sound network troubleshooting skills and efficient problem-solving methodology.
• Outstanding time management skills and work ethic (highly motivated) to manage multiple projects and accountabilities.
• A great sense of accountability towards objectives.
• Able to work off hours during customer maintenance change windows and participate in on-call rotation support.
• Ability to work effectively in a high volume environment that is subject to frequent change.
