- Produce and source new leads and business sales.
- Take ownership of every aspect of the sales life-cycle in order to consistently exceed targets.
- Undertake research on new categories and clients.
- Provide (in conjunction with our marketing manager) new business-specific contact including email outreach, sales brochures and presentations.
- Attend client meetings.
- Own all meeting follow-up process and conversions.
- Convert learnings and develop the best approach for new business outreach and attaining opportunities for the business.
- Minimum 1- year experience in a sales or business development role, although we would consider exceptional candidates with limited experience.
- Effective experience in delivering and managing the process.
- Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint – manipulating data and writing succinct and impressive presentations.
- Sound experience with sales pipeline software such as Salesforce would be useful.
- Familiarity with working within a sales environment, including a proven track record in client relationship management and B2B new business sale.
- Involvement in the pitching process for new business – from industry research to producing new business proposals right through to delivering confident new business pitches.
