Sales Director

Tug is looking for a Sales Director in London, United Kingdom. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for owning lead generation, through cold calling, networking, appointment setting and PR and marketing.
  • Actively and successfully lead the sales processes through lead generation, solution pitch, negotiation and closing deals.
  • Provide Tug to potential clients through direct communications in face-to-face meetings, telephone calls and emails.
  • Own and manage their sales pipeline.
  • Responsible for new business and are expected to self-manage, however, support will be available from the chief strategy officer, managing director, CEO for larger and more complex pitches, strategies and solutions.
  • Jointly manage the sales process within the organization – with help from the team – of thought leadership events (e.g. TugLife) to increase agency awareness and ultimately drive new business.
  • Proactively recommend and manage other lead generation events such as client networking drinks, prospect dinners etc.
  • Head a new business manager.
  • Represent Tug at trade and industry events.
  • Communicate with other internal departments.
  • Improve sales collateral, credentials across all relevant clients and sectors.
  • Stay up to date with industry news.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective experience in sales ability through managing and working on complex media pitches.
  • Expert knowledge of digital media landscape.
  • Capable of hands-on problem-solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions.
  • Outstanding presenting and negotiating skills at board level.
  • Strong wrote and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid time management and planning.
  • Positive attitude and fun.
