Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, architecture and development of apps that are elegant, efficient, secure, highly available and maintainable.
• Cooperate closely with other developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
• Contribute insights into ways to improve the processes and tools used on the Android team.
• Maintain a positive can-do attitude in a fast moving environment.
• Follow and help cultivate consistent development best practices.
• Collaborate with project manager and other software developers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the Android application.
• Provide thought-leadership regarding implementation best practices.
• Support in the estimation and assessment of the feasibility of features.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems technology or a related field.
• Extensive experience in developing trends and emerging standards in mobile apps using (RxJava, MVP and Kotlin).
• Proficient knowledge of the whole software development lifecycle such as (requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation).
• Deep technical experience with Java for (Android, Android SDK and Android Studio).
• Expert understanding of RESTful APIs and how to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Advanced understanding of code versioning using (git, Github and Git Flow).
• Strong experience working with testing libraries such as (Espresso and Junit).
• Basic understanding of web technologies such as (Javascript, CSS and HTML5).
• Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines successfully.
• Solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
