Job Responsibilities:
- Improve content for existing and potential clients – exercising creative thought, link earning expertise and commercial knowledge.
- Head creative brainstorms, always being willing to proffer new content and outreach ideas.
- Recognize opportunities for content that will generate interest, coverage and links for our clients, both within the blogging sphere and mainstream news outlets.
- Determine clients’ audiences and use this data to more accurately suggest content ideas that will resonate with our target audience.
- Operate closely with your line manager, account teams and client services to ensure delivery of strategies are up to date and creative ideas are realistic.
- Perform seamlessly with the digital PR and outreach specialists, copywriters, SEO consultants, designers and client services who will be aligned with the same client account as you.
- Direct clients and internal teams on approaches to effective content strategies that inform content briefs and requirements
- Work on new business opportunities and assist with the pitch process.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience and an excellent understanding of content marketing, SEO, blogger outreach, PR and social media.
- Demonstrated understanding of SEO, particularly related to off-page SEO factors and content optimization.
- Expert knowledge of the evolving digital content, engagement/PR space and commercial market.
- Deep awareness of digital design, content standards and trends.
- Awareness and interest in current trends related to content, SEO, analytics, social and customer experience.
- Strong grasp of baseline online marketing: SEO, Web Site Analytics (Google, Omniture, Compete), Web Site Design & UI, content development, domain research and selection, Blog Platforms and Technologies.
- Previous management of at least one member.
- Creative, diplomatic and calm under pressure.
- Confident, proactive and inspirational.
- Methodical, but able to adapt and change direction quickly.
- Ability to brief a team of multi-discipline specialists where content will be applied while also being a team player.
