Job Responsibilities:
- Improve, support and maintain FLARE’s social media strategy.
- Provide daily story ideas and resurface existing content based on what is trending.
- Increasing engagement and referral rates across platforms.
- Support FLARE tone across all platforms.
- Promote, mentor and oversee the work of FLARE’s social media assistant and/or social media intern.
- Separate metrics and adapt overall digital content strategies accordingly.
- Communicate with marketing lead on Search Engine Marketing and social boosting.
- Collect and analyze monthly traffic reports.
- Advance SEO strategy for major FLARE initiatives such as our annual #HowIMadeIt list.
- Supervise sponsored posts for sales and the branded content group.
- Assure that FLARE surpasses its 2018 social goals.
Job Requirements:
- A post-secondary degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management, at a major agency or brand.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as HootSuite, Chartbeat, Omniture, BuzzSumo, CrowdTangle and Google Analytics.
- Effective experience to nimbly switch strategies based on minute-by-minute metrics analysis.
- Proficient knowledge of WordPress and Photoshop.
- Deep understanding of native analytics tools across all major social media platforms.
- Solid drive, an initiative and management skills.
- Interested to embrace change with a positive, can-do attitude.
