Job Responsibilities:
- Improve, manage and execute a content calendar based on search volumes, revenue potential and brand affinity.
- Determine key audience segments, build audience personas and define segment-specific content marketing strategies.
- Cooperate with relevant teams to commission, edit and publish engaging content across lifestyle commerce. These verticals vary from dating to health to motoring.
- Assure evergreen commercial content remains front and center on the leading search engines.
- Ensure content covering major topical events and seasonality is visible.
- Secure that all our commerce content is optimized for SEO.
- Understood of on-site and off-site SEO best practices.
- Report on effectiveness of SEO and identify problem areas that may affect search engine rankings.
Job Requirements:
- Effective experience in content and SEO marketing and web analytics in a similar role with an agency or B2C direct marketing organization.
- Demonstrated understanding of the impact of content on consumer behavior and how it drives engagement through to purchase exit, lapse and retention.
- Proficient experience in delivering commercial content marketing strategies and plans with emphasis on ROI.
- Expert knowledge of SEO and understanding of SEO best practice.
- Familiarity with SEO tools for auditing, rankings and research.
- Proven track record in producing and editing content for a range of digital channels.
- Strong experience in managing content and generating traffic for high profile websites.
- Outstanding skills in developing content marketing plans through segmentation insight, consumer content needs and preferences.
- Deep knowledge of customer segmentation and buying patterns.
- Sound understanding of reporting with web and SEO analytics (Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Google Webmaster, Adobe Analytics).
- Solid experience of working on digital campaigns and communication strategies.
