Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively define best practice methodology for StudentHut.
- Deliver on-site and off-site SEO campaigns in order to increase performance and drive success based on agreed KPIs.
- Recommend on-site and technical changes and carry out changes to the website.
- Carry out advanced and detailed keyword research to identify the most effective and targeted key phrases.
- Produce detailed technical SEO reports for the management team.
- Analysis of competitor SEO techniques in order to replicate and improve the site.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of working experience in SEO, ideally having worked directly for a brand with proven experience of growing their search presence.
- Deep understanding of search marketing and the factors that influence (websites, search profiles and performance).
- Proficient experience in technical SEO best practice including (HTML meta tags, URL structure, schema.org markup for desktop and mobile search).
- Extensive experience with SEO tools such as (Screaming Frog, SEMrush, aHREFs, Brightedge, Linkdex and Moz).
- Advanced understanding of robots control and site indexing principles including (robots.txt, meta robots tags, canonical tag and XML sitemaps).
- Expert knowledge of dealing with (Google Analytics, Google and Bing Search Console).
- Basic knowledge of (Google Tag Manager).
- Strong working skills of using MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Solid analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently or as a team player.
- Ability to manage multi-tasks to meet deadlines successfully.
