Job Responsibilities:

• Improve, execute and evaluate social media programs for Servus Credit Union to support business objectives under the direction of the manager.
• Assure social media externally and internally reflects the Servus brand and enhances the credit union’s reputation.
• Cooperate with internal teams to build relationships and strategies with influencers.
• Collaborate with the editorial-content team, content-strategy team and clients regularly to plan, roll out and respond to content.
• Organize social media plans and activities with other departments to ensure consistent, timely delivery of messages and efficient use of resources.
• Maintenance planning and budgeting for the department.

Job Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, marketing or related field.
• At least 2 years social media experience in a professional environment (equivalencies will be considered).
• Effective experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube and a social media management platform is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to answer questions and solve problems.
• Interested in working quickly and accurately at the same time.
• Membership in a professional organization such as Canadian public relations society or the international association of business communicators is an asset.
• Great ability to gathers input and information from a few different sources to reach a conclusion.
• High ability to work well with others and thrive in a team-based workplace.
