17% of the US internet users in 2016 prefer the first contact with news in the morning via smartphone, while 16%  of UK internet users prefer the same source.

48% of US internet users prefer using Social media as a source of news especially the Facebook (37%) and Twitter (6%); while 23% prefer using the news website or apps as a source of news.

on the other hand, 48% of the UK internet users prefer using the news website or apps as a source of news, & only 33% of them use Social Media as a source of news.
