96% of Americans with internet access have made an online purchase at some points in their life and 80% have done so in the month previous the survey. Price (87%), shipping cost & speed (80%), discount offers (71%) and the diversity of shopping in stock (71%) are the most influenced factors make American shoppers purchase online.
But in contrast, there are some factors that American shoppers hate to face when purchasing products. Paying for shipping, inability to trying out products first, the difficulty of returning items and waiting for delivery are the top of these factors with rates of 58%, 49%, 34% & 34% respectively.
